Devil Kings is the name under which Capcom released Sengoku Basara in the West, an action game that takes real figures from Japan's Sengoku period - like Date Masamune or Sanada Yukimura - and turns them into warriors of exaggerated proportions and powers, in mass battles against entire armies with a faster, more arcade-like pace than the Dynasty Warriors saga, its closest reference.
In Japan, Sengoku Basara became a pop-culture phenomenon with its own anime and merchandising; in the West, under the name Devil Kings, it had a much more modest reception and today is a cult entry for those seeking musou with more style and less solemnity.
