After the stumble of DMC2, Capcom handed Hideaki Itsuno the job of redemption: a prequel starring a young, insolent Dante and four swappable combat styles that founded modern action-stylish combat. The West suffered twice over: the American release used the Japanese Hard mode as its Normal difficulty, a calibration error that forged veterans the hard way. The Special Edition fixed it and added a playable Vergil.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
