Disgaea 2 - Cursed Memories continues Nippon Ichi Software's tactical strategy saga, with Adell, a young man trying to break a curse that turned his entire village into demons, as the protagonist of a story mixing hilarious humor with an almost excessive depth of turn-based combat: stacking characters, throwing them across the map, leveling up to absurd figures, and customizing each unit down to the detail.
It's a central entry for understanding Disgaea's cult appeal: the accessibility of its comedic tone coexists with one of the deepest, most addictive strategic layers of Japanese tactical RPGs of its generation.
