Disney's Treasure Planet adapts the film that transposed Treasure Island to a science-fiction setting with space pirates, following Jim Hawkins in his search for Captain Flint's legendary treasure, with platforming and action levels that include using a solar-sail board as the film's distinctive feature.
It's an adaptation faithful to the film's adventurous spirit, one of the most visually original experiments of early-2000s Disney, though commercially it wasn't among the most remembered titles in the console's children's catalog.
