Atlus moved its urban formula to Inaba, a rural town where a string of murders is investigated by stepping into television sets. The routine of classes, friendships, and fog built the definitive social JRPG and turned Atlus from a cult studio into a global powerhouse. Its cast spawned an entire spin-off industry of its own: fighting games, dance games, and the Golden version that conquered PC years later.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
