Ar tonelico - Sekai no Owari de Utai Tsuzukeru Shoujo is the original Japanese version of what became known in the West as Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia, Gust's JRPG -the house behind the Atelier series- that introduced 'Song Magic': songs sung in real time by the Reyvateil, characters whose voice literally casts spells during battle. The music ended up being as much a protagonist as the plot. It's a cult game within PS2 JRPGs, appreciated for an original combat system and a setting that mixes sci-fi and fantasy in an uncommon way. It remains an interesting entry point for anyone looking for JRPGs willing to experiment with their own rules.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
