Hoodlum Havoc, developed by Ubisoft Montpellier under Michel Ancel's supervision, has Rayman facing off against the Hoodlums, a horde of comedic henchmen serving a villain with more ambition than talent, across levels full of imaginative platforming, light combat, and a sense of humor built on both dialogue and visual design. It remains one of the best-remembered platformers of the PS2 generation, appreciated for its artistic creativity and a pace that has aged notably better than much of its contemporaries.
