A darker, more ambitious sequel: Ryu confronts a corrupt church in a story about faith and its abuses, with fishing, your own village, and dragon fusions. Its American translation, famously clumsy, earned both affection and mockery in equal measure. Underneath that rough finish lives one of the console's most beloved RPGs.
