Bubble Bobble: Lost Cave V1.1 [Homebrew] is an unofficial modification of Taito's original 1986 Bubble Bobble, created by the fan community to add new levels and challenges on the same game engine —trapping enemies in bubbles and popping them to advance. As with any homebrew production, it has no endorsement or involvement from Taito.

For followers of the original it's a way of extending the life of a formula they know by heart, with the added draw of stages designed specifically for experienced players. It shouldn't be taken as part of the saga's official timeline.
