Crazy Kong is one of the best-known unauthorized replicas of Nintendo's Donkey Kong (1981), originally manufactured by Falcon and Ikin for the Japanese market and then in turn cloned by dozens of operators on bootleg boards around the world, with the star gorilla renamed to dodge the trademark.
It's a key piece for understanding how board piracy worked in the early 80s, when the legal protection of an arcade design was much weaker than today. Gameplay-wise it's, in essence, the same original Donkey Kong.
