Under the title "DoDonPachi II - Fung Bou" circulates a regional edition of DoDonPachi II: Bee Storm, the sequel to the bullet-hell reference DoDonPachi, developed in 2001 by Raizing/8ing after Cave had moved on to other projects. It keeps the rain of projectiles and extreme demand that made the original saga famous, though with a somewhat different approach than the first DoDonPachi. It's an installment received with more reservations than its predecessor among the genre's hardcore fans, precisely because of that change of hands in development, but it remains a demanding, technically solid shooter.
