Lochjaw has the player dodging and battling a giant shark while exploring an underwater environment on the Atari 2600, in a formula that points directly to the Jaws film phenomenon. In fact, the game was originally called something else before Apollo, its publisher, decided to change the name to avoid legal trouble with the owners of the movie's trademark. It's a curious case of how the early-'80s video game industry constantly walked the line of trademark infringement, adapting blockbuster premises without ever paying for the official license.
