Under the European title Ace Combat - The Belkan War hides Ace Combat Zero, the Project Aces entry that went back in the series' timeline to narrate the conflict that had remained a legendary backstory in earlier entries. It introduced the "Ace Style" system, which shaped the player's flying toward heroism or mercenary ruthlessness depending on how they took down rivals, and added a radio-drama narration that turned the battles into something closer to a war drama than simple target practice. For much of the arcade flight-sim fandom, it remains the high point of the series' PS2 era. Accessible combat, well-designed missions, and an orchestral score still remembered fondly.
This system doesn't run in the browser yet (Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and Xbox are on the way as web emulation matures). The dossier, media and community are already all yours.
