CART Fury - Championship Racing, developed by Midway, takes the aesthetic of CART/IndyCar-style single-seater racing and turns it into a fast arcade game with power-ups and spectacular crashes, deliberately steering away from the rigor of motorsport simulators. The official CART license gave a certain veneer of authenticity to the cars and drivers.
It's a typical representative of Midway's early-2000s arcade racing: fast, loud, and designed for immediate fun rather than precision.
