Acrobat Mission is a vertical-scrolling shoot 'em up published by Taito in 1991, with agile ships, tight enemy waves, and oversized boss fights, the studio's signature during those years. It never reached the fame of Darius or Raiden, but it shares their DNA of precision and memorization. It's a title for classic shmup collectors: it reinvents nothing, but competently executes the formula that defined a golden age of the genre in Japanese arcades.
