Agress - Missile Daisenryaku is a Japanese vertical shoot 'em up from the early 90s, the kind that filled arcades in the genre's golden age before Cave and Raizing pushed it to the extreme of "danmaku." The subtitle, "Great Missile Strategy," already sets the tone: a screen loaded with projectiles and enemies in tight waves.
It never reached the renown of Toaplan's or Compile's shooters, but it's representative of that pool of minor Japanese studios that kept the genre alive in every neighborhood arcade.
