Air Assault is an aerial-action arcade board distributed in the international ("World") market, part of the huge family of air-combat shooters that flooded arcades from the mid-eighties on. As often happens with regionally circulated boards, documentation on its specific development is scarce. With no further certainties to confirm, the fair thing is to describe it for what it is at a glance: one more solid, functional entry in the wave of plane shooters that coexisted with much more memorable titles of the era.
