B.C. Kid, known depending on the market as Bonk's Adventure or Kyuukyoku!! PC Genjin, is the arcade version of the popular big-headed caveman Hudson Soft turned into the PC Engine's mascot in the early 90s. The game brings the head-butting platformer formula and prehistoric-meat power-ups to arcade cabinets, with colorful levels populated by dinosaurs and Stone Age creatures.
For those who knew Bonk on console, this arcade version is a charming return to the same universe with the faster pace the coin-op format demands, and it remains one of the arcade adaptations most faithful to the mascot's spirit.
