Beast Busters is a light-gun shooting arcade SNK released in 1989, set in a zombie invasion that must be stopped with gunfire alongside two other players, on a cabinet recognizable for its three guns arranged in a row. The formula is the classic rail shooter's: aim, shoot, and reload by pulling the gun out of the holster, with increasingly intense enemy waves. It's one of the most remembered light gun shooters of the late 80s, both for its horror setting and for the social experience of playing it three at a time. Today it's enjoyed as a key piece of the genre's golden era, before Sega and others refined the formula in the 90s.
