Bubble Bobble: Lost Cave is a fan-made modification of Taito's original 1986 Bubble Bobble, which reuses the engine and sprites of the dinosaurs Bub and Bob to present a completely new set of levels, a typical exercise of the board-hacking scene that keeps producing content on top of classics.

It's worth clarifying that this is not a Taito work but a fan project; its interest lies in seeing how far the level design of a classic platform-puzzle game can be stretched without touching its base gameplay.
