Bump 'n' Jump is a top-down race where merely overtaking isn't enough: you can ram rival cars to send them flying off the road, and jump over obstacles with a dedicated button. That mix of speed and aggression set it apart from the more solemn races of its time.
It earned a cult following for its frantic pace and visual sense of humor, and it's still mentioned as one of the most fun and underrated car games of the early 80s.
