Chulgyeok D-Day is a two-player vertical shooter developed by South Korea's Dooyong in 1990, with the genre's usual formula: weapons upgraded by collecting power-ups, smart bombs to clear the screen, and a classic level progression. Outside Korea it circulated under the name The Last Day, the version meant for the Western market. It's representative of the South Korean vertical shooter of the era, a scene less known than the Japanese one but with its own active production, and today it's appreciated mostly by collectors who closely follow Dooyong's catalog.
