Cisco Heat (1990) is a Jaleco racing game set on San Francisco's steep streets, where the player competes against rival police cars while dodging traffic and facing jumps generated by the city's own geography. It became especially famous for its deluxe cabinet version with three connected screens, one of the most ambitious stagings of the era's arcade racing.
Without being as remembered as Out Run or Rad Racer, Cisco Heat has its own place in the genre's history thanks to that so-recognizable urban scenery and the sense of speed it achieved with relatively modest hardware.
