Cloak & Dagger is a 1983 Atari arcade game combining action with a light gun: the player takes on an agent who must recover a stolen microfilm by facing armed enemies in different scenarios, with the B-movie spy aesthetic so popular in those years. It uses the same type of shooting peripheral that Atari would exploit in other titles of the era.
It's an early and little-remembered representative of the light-gun shooter, a category that Sega and Namco would later exploit massively. It's worth it as a piece of format archaeology, before it consolidated into a genre of its own.
