Daisenpu is the Japanese version of Twin Cobra, Toaplan's 1987 vertical shooter starring a combat helicopter that collects power-ups and faces increasingly intense ground and air waves. It's one of the titles that consolidated Toaplan as a mandatory reference for the genre during the second half of the 80s. Its precise level design and well-calibrated difficulty curve explain why it remains, decades later, one of the most cited vertical shooters of that generation.
