Desert Assault is an action arcade game set in a military conflict in the desert, within the extensive tradition of war games that dominated a good part of the arcade catalog in the 80s and 90s, although the available documentation about its developer and exact mechanics is limited.
Like so many generic war-themed titles of its time, today it works mostly as a catalog piece within that imagery so recurrent in arcades.
