Dig Dug II (1985) is the sequel to Namco's classic Dig Dug (1982), swapping the original underground setting for the surface of an island: instead of inflating enemies until they burst underground, now you must trace cracks around them to break off sections of land and sink them into the sea.
It's an interesting twist on the original formula that, however, never reached the popularity of the first Dig Dug. It's remembered as a curiosity within the saga, appreciated by those who know Namco's early catalog well.
