Dog-Fight is the Japanese edition of the same multidirectional shooter that circulated in the West as Acrobatic Dog-Fight: Technōs Japan developed it in 1984 with the distinctive idea of being able to eject from one's own plane to hijack the enemy's mid-air combat. The difference between both versions is mostly one of title and minor regional details, not of underlying design. It serves as a reference for comparing how Technōs and Data East adapted the name and presentation of the same game depending on the target market, a common practice in 80s arcades.
