Donkey Kong League Championship v1.00 is an unofficial modification built over the code of Nintendo's original Donkey Kong, which reorders or redesigns the classic levels -barrels, hammers, the scaffolding structure- under a format conceived as a competition or 'league' among players, with no relation to Nintendo whatsoever. It's one more example of the vitality of the hacking scene over the original Donkey Kong: the credit for the base design and characters remains Nintendo's, and what this version contributes is exclusively the modification work done by third parties.
