This edition is an unofficial modification of Nintendo's Donkey Kong (1981) that replaces the plumber with Pauline, the character originally waiting to be rescued atop the structure. It keeps the four classic screens intact -barrels, cement, elevators, and rivets- but changes the protagonist's sprite and some animations. This kind of hack is a common phenomenon in the preservation community: they reinterpret absolute classics from new angles, in this case inverting the roles of a tale that defined the medium from its origin.
