Donkey Kong Twisted Jungle v1.05 is, like Barrelpalooza, an unofficial modification of the original Donkey Kong that reuses the 1981 game engine to present new levels with a twisted-jungle setting, the work of the retro-hacking community and with no link to Nintendo.
It's part of the same tradition of hacks seeking to revitalize early platforming classics with challenges designed for an audience already expert in the original.
