Double Wings is a Japanese vertical shoot 'em up from the early 90s, with a chargeable shooting system and the ability to switch between different ship configurations, within the already crowded competition of vertical shooters from that stage of the genre.
It's a second-tier title compared to the big names of Toaplan or Compile from the same era, but it's part of the catalog documenting the huge production of the Japanese shmup in the early 90s.
