Dragonninja has two street fighters punching and kicking their way through an army of ninjas to rescue the president, kidnapped by the Dragon Ninja clan. Data East built there one of the most influential beat 'em ups of the late 80s, with a direct and satisfying combat pace.
Its Western version, Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja, became famous for its advertising slogan, as direct as it was memorable, and today the Japanese original is equally valued as a foundational piece of the beat-while-you-advance genre.
