Dynamic Country Club, published by Sega in 1988, offers a golf round with the perspective and swing system that would become standard in the genre: power bar, launch angle, and reading the terrain before each shot. It was one of the first serious golf simulators in Sega's catalog. Though it was overshadowed by more sophisticated successors like Neo Turf Masters, it has the merit of laying technical groundwork that the rest of the genre would finish polishing over the following years.
