Dynamite Duke is an action arcade game Seibu Kaihatsu released in 1989 (also distributed by Sega), with a pseudo-3D first-person perspective that puts the player in the shoes of an exaggeratedly muscular commando, in the aesthetic of 80s Rambo-style action heroes, shooting his way through soldiers and enemy vehicles.
It's a curious representative of the sprite-scaling first-person shooter subgenre, a formula that had its moment before being replaced by the on-rails light-gun shooter. Today it's remembered more for its over-the-top aesthetic than for gameplay depth.
