Exerion is a vertical shooter from Jaleco released in 1983, famous for a control scheme atypical for the time, in which the ship's movement and firing direction responded with a certain inertia of their own, forcing the player to constantly recalculate trajectory. The already high difficulty leaned on that particular control. It's one of the most demanding shooters of its generation, remembered mostly for that distinctive control that set it apart from the rest of the early-80s vertical shooter wave.
