Explorer [Bootleg]

Explorer reproduces Scramble's formula without major changes: a ship advancing in automatic horizontal scroll while the player manages fuel, bombs ground bases, and dodges increasingly narrow terrain up to the final confrontation. Sidam put it into circulation in 1981 as an unauthorized copy of Konami's original, within the bootleg boom that surrounded that title across Europe. It's one more example of how Scramble, one of the great early-80s hits, generated an enormous number of clones and pirate copies in the European arcade circuit, of which this is one among many.
