Published by Data Age in 1982 for the Atari 2600, Airlock has the player running and jumping through the inside of a damaged submarine, collecting two hatch keys per level to activate the elevator before time runs out. Loose torpedoes rolling across each floor demand precise jumps under constant pressure. It's a platformer from the 2600's early years, when the genre was still defining its rules and every studio tried different variations on the same idea of run, jump, and escape.
