Boing! was the only game First Star Software released for the Atari 2600, in 1983, and it openly borrows Q*bert's formula: the player controls Bubble, who has to bounce across the thirty-six tiles of an isometric pyramid until all of them light up, dodging enemies that move by their own logic. It's a short, direct reflex puzzle, representative of the wave of clones that flooded the 2600's catalog after its inspiration's arcade success. Today it's a sought-after rarity, more for its scarcity than for innovating on the formula it copies.
