Hockey came out in 1992, developed by Alpine Software and published by Atari Corporation: a light simulation of the winter sport, with an overhead view of the rink and controls reduced to the bare minimum for shots, passes, and line changes, in line with most of the sports Atari brought to its handheld. It could be played against the computer or against another person by linking two units. It's yet another representative of how Atari systematically handled team sports on the Lynx: short games, simplified rules, and a focus on making the experience work well on a small screen rather than on fidelity to the real sport.
