Jimmy Connors' Tennis came out in 1993, developed by Hand Made Software and published by Atari Corporation: tennis matches licensed with the former American tennis star's name, a side view of the court, and controls designed to work with just a few buttons, in line with the rest of the Lynx's sports catalog. It offered several game modes and the option of matches against another player via cable. It's one of the many named-athlete games Atari added to the handheld, aiming to appeal to sports fans as well as regular players, at a time when sports licenses were a common commercial strategy across the whole industry.
