Jr. Pac-Man (1983) hands the reins to the original dot-eater's son, in mazes larger than the screen, with objects that move and bounce, and a twist on the formula meant to refresh a genre that was starting to feel saturated. It's a sequel curious for its origin — it was born outside Namco, from the same people who adapted Pac-Man for the North American market — and it's still enjoyed today as a fresh variant of the original classic.
