Knight on the Town, published in 1982 by Playaround for the Atari 2600, is part of the small, controversial catalog of adult-content games that briefly circulated in the console's early years. Mechanically it's a skill-and-timing game: the knight has to build a bridge piece by piece to cross a moat, dodging a dragon's fire, a crocodile swimming below, and a goblin whose speed increases with every piece placed. It came out as a "double-ender" cartridge alongside Jungle Fever, another title from the same label, and today it survives as a historical curiosity of an uncomfortable but real side of the earliest home video game market.
