Robert Jaeger designed this exploration platformer in which Panama Joe navigates a labyrinthine Aztec pyramid full of traps, snakes, spiders, and chests with keys and items that keep opening new routes, in an interconnected map structure uncommon for 1984. The difficulty, high even by 2600 standards, became part of its legend.
It's cited today as one of the best platform and exploration games in the entire 2600 library, a direct forerunner of the non-linear map logic that Metroid and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night would later perfect.
