Panda Chase offers a maze-chase dynamic with a panda as the protagonist, in line with the many variants the Pac-Man phenomenon spawned in Europe during the first half of the 80s for the Atari 2600. The change of character from the original dot-muncher reflects the common practice at the time of dodging licensing issues with a different character design. It's one of the many European clones of the maze genre that circulated on the console, today documented mainly by collectors who track the regional variants of this formula.
