Piece o' Cake, published by U.S. Games in 1982 for Atari 2600, puts the player in the role of a baker who must drop cake layers of different sizes onto a plate moving along an increasingly fast conveyor belt. Each layer must be equal to or smaller than the previous one to avoid ruining the build, and topping the cake with a cherry earns bonus points if the layer order —large, medium, small— comes out perfect. It's a precision-and-timing puzzle controlled entirely with the paddle, one of the many "trade" games U.S. Games tried during its brief but prolific stint in the 2600 catalog.
