Ski Hunt, published in 1983 by Home Vision for Atari 2600 and also known as Mountain Man or Winterjagd in its German edition, combines downhill skiing with hunting animals that appear along the way, in an uncommon crossover between a winter-sports game and a shooting gallery. It was distributed in Europe by ITT under the Home Vision label, the same publisher responsible for other rarities in the 2600's PAL catalog. It's representative of that European habit of fusing seemingly incompatible genres into a single cartridge to maximize commercial appeal.
