Springer, developed by Orca Corporation and published by Tigervision in 1982 for Atari 2600, puts the player in command of a rabbit that must jump from cloud to cloud collecting objects and eggs on its way to the sun, with a bonus timer counting down and the option to kick the dragons that sometimes hatch from the collected eggs. It's one more entry in the long list of platformers that imitated the Donkey Kong formula in the 2600's golden era, with a control scheme much of retrospective criticism has described as unintuitive. It survives today as a catalog curiosity, cited more for its strange premise than regularly played.
