The SwordQuest series combined an adventure-and-puzzle game with a comic book that accompanied the cartridge and a real contest: whoever managed to solve the puzzles hidden in the game could win jewelry worth tens of thousands of dollars, designed specifically for each entry. "WaterWorld" is the third chapter of a saga originally meant to have four parts based on the elements, but which was left unfinished after the 1983 video game crash.
It's one of the most ambitious and curious pieces of 2600 history, both for its design and for the real-life chapter of its story: the prize for the fourth entry, "Airworld," was never awarded because the game was never released.
