Video Life suggests, by its name, a reflection on life through the screen, whether as a life simulator, a collection of everyday scenes, or a software experiment closer to art than to conventional gaming. There isn't, however, enough reliable documentation to pin down its exact genre, its development, or its release date with certainty.
Faced with that lack of certainty, we prefer honesty: it's one more piece of the era's scattered catalog, of interest to the curious collector rather than a well-documented chapter of the medium's history.
